This summer, on my first visit to Yellowstone, I was mesmerized by the vast array of geysers and hot springs over such a large, unique area. Walking through the highly volatile volcanic site that is constantly releasing pressure from the earth through the water, all around were vivid colors and varied textures, steam from still pools and sudden bursts of energy from the geysers in a landscape of white and multicolored minerals. I found it all oddly peaceful. This mosaic is an exploration of those brilliant deep pools of blue in their white surroundings.
