This small abstract composition is a pure emotional expression of how at last I felt happy working in an opposite mode from my work of late that is large, public, with different tesserae, and under pressure. Creating this little piece in smalti (my favorite type of material) was pure personal joy in working the tesserae in a new fashion. The creative process may not always do what I want, and the results can be different from expected. I always learn something new in the process of assembling and following the lines. There is always a āsilver liningā ā that is if I choose to see it.
