My panel is titled “Spell Jar”. I wanted to create a panel that gave a sense of who I am outside of stained glass, since I still consider myself a new artist in this medium, even though I started in 2022. I live in a log cabin on several acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is my happy place, and I love tending to the flora and fauna here. There is so much peace in connecting with nature. I have spell jars and gemstones, dried herbs and flowers, and other finds from nature all over my home and my “mountain” and I tried to capture this idea in the panel.
