This piece was inspired by a stroll in the rain on the isle of Torcello in Venice. My husband and I were with our friends, the Grans. Even though the weather was dreary, the island was beautiful with the canals, bell tower, boats, and even mosaics. “La Gran passeggiata a Torcello” is a tribute to that incredible isle and an incredible couple.
