An ear worm from the T Rex song and a found object at the Santa Fe airport led to this mosaic. The object looked like a hubcap, the song is an old favourite. I love to use the shiniest possible materials, and was also inspired by the many religious mosaics I’ve seen in Italy where haloes are a prominent feature.
