Jose Acevedo it’s a Puerto rican mosaic artist. He started his artistic education at the Atelier del Mosaico de Puerto Rico. Thanks to this school he was able to face great changes in his work and was able to master the technique of mosaic art. The techniques of making artistic expression through mosaic had enriched his health on many levels. Due to Parkinson Disease Jose found a great challenge to create but he was able to find a moment of peace and happiness through this medium. Golden hour, ist a moment in time after sunrise or before sunset when the light of the sun infuses in different warm hues like reds, orange, pink and golden tones. Growing up in Puerto Rico, our caribbean waters are very important to Jose. He explored the movements of the seacoast, where waves of salty waters blend within the reflection of this twilight sky using stained glass, metal wires and glass beads.
