In my studio, I embrace the entire color palette, emphasizing texture and whimsy. Characteristically, I blend Mexican and Italian smalti to create color washes smattered with variance. I often integrate botanical elements into my work, finding joy in elevating common subjects like houseplants into lasting decor that is accessible to all art-lovers. I am inspired by watercolors of the subjects I take on and enjoy the challenge of “painting” with tesserae.
