Since moving my studio to the Sierras I’ve been fascinated with the stunning close by nature and Yosemite National Park just a short drive up the road. There is a yearly weather phenomenon at Horsetail Fall which seems to show a burning waterfall when the suns hits is just right. A bit of a gamble if you will get to actually see it, but it was as good as I could hope for this year when I was there. This is an attempt to resemble this unique spectacle in mosaics.
