The entirety of my craft centers around thoughtfulness and enjoyment. Glass, being a cerebral and brilliant medium, is conducive to my process. In 1943, Alexander Calder wrote, “I feel that the artist should go about his work simply, with great respect for his materials.” I embrace this mindset. I employ bright colors and interesting textures that change as the light transmits or reflects in the glass. My work comes from a place of purpose and fun.
