I see mosaics as painting with glass. I strive to create detailed works of art that evoke a love for nature and wildlife. Drawing inspiration from our natural environment, particularly the San Francisco Bay Area, it gives me great joy to create beautiful images of birds, landscapes, flowers, fish, bugs. “Fiery” exemplifies my artistic style, and I tried to capture the beauty and iridescence of the scale-like feather patterns on this Fiery-Throated Hummingbird.
