As North America experienced the solar eclipse of 2024 I was impressed with so many remarkable photos that were posted online. This mosaic was inspired by NASA photographs showing the coronal loops of the sun; curving strands of plasma that appear as arcs above the surface. Plasma is pulled back towards the solar surface by closed magnetic field lines. Tiny earth reflects the sun’s light in the distance.
