I’ve chosen glass as my dance partner, leaning into the wildness of a medium with a mind of its own. My practice is an invitational duet of close listening and collaborative process– of “falling apart into each other” until the boundaries between maker and matter dissolve.
Hot shop and cold glass art forms have captivated me since 2023. Each technique calls me into unique, purposeful expression. This piece shares a personal moment, where spinning fluidity from the furnace playfully engages with choreography of mosaic to embody my sense of relational being and self-identity.
In a spirit of “Let Us”, I invite you to find a pathway through the glass, into the shifting landscapes of your own internal world. Please complete my work by adding your own moments into this swirl of “let us fall apart into each other.”
