I love this piece as it is very personal and brought me to tears…but really didn’t start out that way as many of my pieces morph into something completely different. It started out as a moth ha ha but soon I was tearing pieces off and going in a completely different and an incredibly healing direction.
The piece is called ‘Returning’. It is a representation of tremendous heart healing that I have experienced moving back to the place I love, near the trails I love to hike. On the trails are the pockets of moss, so ancient and when the sunlight hits them, my heart spills over with the gratitude that I have returned here to be. The chain that bound is broken and connection to home is made again.
