“The Cautionary Crow 2024” was inspired by the poem “Crow Song” written in 1974 by Margaret Atwood. The poem talks about societal issues, crowd mentality, picking sides, power, corruption and can easily be applied to modern time politics and current social media issues with conspiracy theories and activism. I encourage the viewer of this piece to read the poem that inspired it to understand better why I chose this particular visual to create in mosaic form.
