In my Ojibwe First Nations tradition, those with ‘deer medicine’ are the peacekeepers: the ones with gentle power. Drawing my inspiration from beadwork patterns used by many Indigenous cultures, I have created this gentle messenger as a quiet and steady force for peace in our world.
