Learning to live in the moment. I recently experienced a blood moon/eclipse, which symbolizes significant change, transition, emotional release, intense, spiritual work, cleaning, introspective, unveiling hidden emotions like grief. As I grieve the passing of my father (January, 2026), this felt very significant.
The metal bolt filled with faliti from Santa Cruz wharf that was broken in storm of December 2024. The wharf fell into the Monterey Bay and washed to shore. I collected the bolt and filled it with faliti to reflect the moon.
A majestic gray whale celebrates a moment in time. Which is a common site in our bay.
It is such a privilege to “be here now”.
