My mosaic art was born out of the pandemic. Surprisingly, as a health care worker, I had no work when the shutdown first took place. I have always turned to art in times of stress, and so I started making mosaics. I make mosaics that celebrate the things that I love, the things that make me smile, and the things that comfort, inspire or empower me. This piece celebrates the joy and the colors of one summer day spent in the outdoors.
