I’m Elizabeth Rosado, a mosaic artist since 2017 from the Atelier del Mosaico de PR. My recent work “Lukas the Octupus” is a representation of the warm water of Puerto Rico. The island of Puerto Rico is filled with beautiful coral reefs, with different textures, shapes and colors where our friend Lukas lives. His brilliant colors was made with stained glass, crystals, seed beads, seashell, sea rocks, wire, pearls and foam. I used the 3-D technique and relief technique with the representation of movement, life, brilliance and happiness of Lukas in the ocean.
