I am blessed to live in a beautiful, remote part of western Colorado. The breathtaking views, high mountain desert mesas, amazing sunsets and the night sky all help to keep me grounded. It has become increasingly important for me to consume daily news and social media in smaller doses. I try to balance being informed and participating in our democracy with the frequent feelings of despair for our nation. I hope my little aspen escape brings you some tranquility.
